Dynamics CRM is a very flexible platform, and can efficiently be used to implement any business process, not just customer relationship management. Many business processes and data, which may currently be implemented via spreadsheets, ad-hoc databases, or e-mail, can be moved to a unified CRM platform, resulting in both cost savings and efficiency improvements.
Strategically it was right to move to a strong CRM, and it was probably the most cost-effective choice for us.
